Chapel The chapel is located on eighty-eight wooded acres that is privately owned.  Here you will find the intimacy you desire.  As you stand in the chapel vowing your love you will have a breath taking view of Horseshoe Lake. Its magnificent twists and turns brings its beauty in grasp. A variety of tall trees line the banks to make this a spectacular view. This magical setting will make an unforgettable ceremony. The main part of the building is decorated in a Kim Anderson theme with splashes of black, white, and gray throughout.  Tall sidewalls, catheral ceiling and an oak floor makes the chapel itself an unforgettable experience.  The feeling of romantic tranquility fills the air subduing the excitement that is yet to come.    A beautiful dressing room is furnished for the bride.  Full length mirrors plus more than adequate space will enable her to feel like a Princess awaiting her Prince Charming. Here she can dress to fulfill her romantic fantasy of her dream of a lifetime wedding.  If needed there are several different complimentary bouquets to use to add on the "finishing touch".  Her special day will leave nothing to the imagination. The grooms' dressing room is adjacent to the chapel for easy access. This cozy room with a black tiled floor will have every detail he will need to begin the event of his life. Our new white vinyl pergola has a drop down deck which seats approximately 25-30 guests. This exquisite addition is another opportunity for your dream come true wedding. Imagine how captivating your ceremony will be as nature surrounds you as you look into the eyes of the one you love. Be worry free with the option to move your ceremony inside the chapel due to inclement weather. This also is a sensational setting for photos. One of our favorite places at Chapel in the Woods is our gorgeous courtyard. It is ideal for outdoor ceremonies and a superb setting for photographs. A tall open fence wraps around the courtyard that includes a three tier Henri Fountain. White benches and an abundance of green foliage completes this remarkable area.
